Islah Welfare Foundation(IWF)is an effort to lay a positive foundation of change in the field of education for the underprivileged. We believe that happiness for a lifetime can only be achieved by helping and enriching the next generation. Some of us give our time, some money and some give skills, but ultimately, we strongly feel everyone has something to give to these kids in need. Most importantly working for ISLAH does not translate to sacrificing personal lives or needs. Mother Teresa said “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”
IWF‘s doors are always open. If you feel you can fill the gap of a missing drop, come join us…
What We Do
DrinkingWater and Sanitization Islah Welfare Foundation’s water and sanitation programs incorporate building infrastructure, sanitation improvement and overall hygiene awareness. Clean drinking water is made accessible by providing hand pumps, open wells and RO Plants in rural areas and villages affected by drought. Orphan Care Our Orphan Care program is dedicated to providing quality assistance for orphans regardless of their religion, creed or gender. It also strives to ensure orphans receive the basic necessities of life – providing them with food, clean water, regular medical check-ups and education. Sustainable Livelihood and Self-Employment – We are committed to providing individuals and communities with training in small-scale skills and interest-free business loans, which offer them dignified and well sustainable ways to make a living. HWF addresses the root causes of poverty through long-term solutions which promote sustainable livelihood. Under Economic Empowerment Project, we establish Vocational Training Centre (VTC) and Skill Development Centre (SDC) and execute self-employment programs in order to achieve this sustainable livelihood goal.
